I can feel myself falling deeper and deeper into a dangerous place

just because we cut, doesn’t mean we’re suicidal, we have our reasons - 9 times out of 10, that reason is NOT death -

once you start, you can’t stop, it’s addicting, cutting is a drug. it serves it’s purpose perfectly, once they cut, they forget about everything that has been wrong. all that is left is the concentration on their wound. they forget about everything but the pain. pain has become their world.
